Tea Regions: Darjeeling (India)

Experience the exquisite muscatel character of Darjeeling in every sip of this special tea from India's most prestigious growing region. Grown along the hillsides of the Himalayas, our Master Origins: Darjeeling BOLD is complimented with notes of Dried Fruit and smooth Honey.

Growing Region: Darjeeling, nestled in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas, is a region of breathtaking natural beauty and rich historical significance. During the British Raj, its cool climate and stunning vistas made it a favored retreat for colonial officers, who established prestigious tea estates across its steep, verdant slopes. Ranging from 2,000 to 7,000 feet in elevation, the area’s unique terroir benefits from cool mountain mists and abundant rainfall, fostering a thriving tea industry that remains central to its identity. Today, Darjeeling is celebrated not only for its iconic teas but also as a symbol of cultural heritage and the enduring charm of its highland landscapes.
